Interesting talk; I missed it live. I’ve never seen a Google book, but I love many of their products like Calendar, Voice, Docs, Chrome etc.
To me this looked like the start of a new venture, a bit like StoryOrigin but not as slick. I hope they put a real effort into this as competition is always good and because of their other products I think there is goodwill in the community for them.
So my takeaway is a question:
Is this a giant waking up from a slumber, or a brief visit to the bathroom before they go back to sleep?
I hope, the former.
Feels like GPB is making a real go at this. Fingers crossed.
