Great way today J. So in summary: Sitrep, Subtext, Value shift, Polarity shift.
I love your positive thoughts about hosting events, because of all the “extra curricular” activities an author can do that is the one I am most interested in. Totally agree that it is a good idea to do writing retreat plus. About making money, one must factor in the cost of all the time spent organizing the event. I don’t know how much time you guys spent organizing and attending Authors on a Train but it wouldn’t surprise me if there’s at least a full novel in the opportunity cost there.

Hey J, can you share that list of methodology books? I figured at this point I am part of your Craft Tribe and will be picking up Story Levels when it releases. But as a new author starting out I am curious what you thought the best methodology books are and that list intrigues me. (Maybe just to Patreons?)
